Phoenix Gets a Special Holiday Gift: Iconic Frank Lloyd Wright House is Finally Saved from Demolition:

Phoenix, AZ  just got an unexpected gift this holiday season; the iconic house Frank Lloyd Wright designed for his son David, which has been under threat of demolition since June of this year, has been rescued once and for all. Just yesterday, an anonymous benefactor closed on the purchase of the house for an undisclosed price and plans to transfer the property to an Arizona non-profit that will restore, maintain, and operate the building for educational purposes. The Chicago-based Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, which has been leading the fight to save the house from the very beginning, facilitated this transaction.
